Participants and organisers often find themselves in remote areas, with slow or limited network coverage. This can make loading our tracking maps difficult on the move. That is why we have added a dedicated Minimal Map. This ultra-lightweight map strips everything back to the basics, prioritising speed over everything else. It is missing a lot of the features on our main map, but if you just need to find someone’s position along the route, it can do that.
You can access the Minimal Map within the Action Controls section in the Details Menu. This map opens in a new tab, allowing you to save the URL for direct access.
