To use a Garmin inReach tracker with one of our maps, you must have an active subscription and you must also share your data with us via a public MapShare KML feed. You can find more information on how to create your MapShare KML feed here.

Before you submit the MapShare ID to us, you can validate it using the tool below, which will check what data is present – flagging any potential issues. You can also verify that your IMEI (the unique device identifier) matches the one present in the feed.
