FMC UK - Follow My Challenge

FMC UK

About FMC UK

Established in 2021, the UK arm of Follow My Challenge was set up by Rob Gardiner. Given the passionate ultra-endurance cycling community in the UK, it’s not surprising that it is grown rapidly since then. We provided tracking for just two events in the UK in the first year, but that has since grown to more than 20, accompanied by various charity, record and challenge maps.

We now have a fleet of several hundred trackers in the UK, providing tracking for some of the biggest ultra-endurance events in the country.

The Team

Rob Gardiner

FMC Global & UK

After spending much of his twenties cycle touring across several continents, Rob discovered ultra-endurance cycling. In 2019, he broke the world record for cycling the length of Europe. Fittingly, the tracking was provided by FMC for this ride, with the previous record had been set by the late Lee Fancourt – instrumental in inspiring FMC’s creation.

Since breaking the world record, Rob now regularly participates in ultra-endurance races, both on and off the road, as well as organising The Perfidious Albion events. He also owns Zolla Wheels, as well as working as a freelance marketing consultant and web designer.
