Live Tracking to Big Screen: no One Rides Alone

Last year, we tracked an extraordinary journey as Clive Phillips, who is living with Multifocal Motor Neuropathy (MMN), set out to with a team of fellow veterans to follow the 1955 Tour de France route. From the cobbles of Paris–Roubaix to the Alps, Mont Ventoux and the Pyrenees, it was a bold test of physical endurance in the face of a rare disease.

Now, that story is heading to the big screen. No One Rides Alone follows the riders across France as they tackle the route, connect with the rare disease community and raise awareness of MMN. The film features double Paralympic gold medallist Ben Watson and Italian para-triathlete Ilaria Brugnoli. It captures the physical and emotional reality of taking on one of cycling’s toughest challenges while living with a rare condition.

The documentary premieres in Ghent, Belgium on Rare Disease Day (28th February 2026), before screening across the UK in March, followed by Australia, New Zealand, the United States and Canada later in the year. Each screening in the UK will be followed by a Q&A with members from the team.

Having been involved with tracking the ride last year, it’s inspiring to see the impact of the ride continue – raising awareness, building community and supporting vital MMN research.
